Michael Brown was born and raised in St Louis Missouri, receiving two years of graphic design/commercial art training from South County Technical School and graduated top of class. He was awarded a blue ribbon from the University Art Association.
Various establishments including Commerce Bank, Take Five magazine, Portfolio gallery, the New York Art Expo, the Loveless Gallery, Art Out of Love Publishing, the Metropolitian Square and Orlando's Banquet Center have provided exposure which has assisted in the sale of 11 major works.
Michael's Artwork is done in mixed media- strong emphasis on charcoal and pastels with a theme revolving around the "heart of man". Michael believes young people, especially males, are misrepresented in our society. Every man has the desire and capacity to give and receive love. His goal is to break down the negative stereotypes.
