Born in 1948 Siegfried came to Hamburg at the age of 20 and has been working in Hamburg's harbor ever since.

Since 1980 he writes poems and lyrics and has published four books of poems. Some of which were set to music as well as broadcast in the radio and TV and published in literature magazines.

Nowadays he writes lyrics for a well known German rock singer, who himself toured Germany together with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones back in the 1960's. Furthermore he writes lyrics for children for a music publisher.

Recently he has involved himself in computer painting and digital photography.

Siegfried is married and lives in the outskirts of Hamburg.
