I have worked as a commercial artist since 1978, which has afforded me exposure to diverse art media. I began working in a freelance capacity in 1985, which helped allow more time to devote to fine art. I have won awards in both commercial and fine art.I began to concentrate on the use of colored pencils as a fine art medium in 1992.
My current choice of subject matter tends to be common, but unusual and often overlooked items, executed in a realistic style to call attention to subtle details and textures.
